Hans-Ueli Wolff, the founder and leader of Innovation Wings, was raised in Erlenbach (Zurich). After his education in in the Basle Chemistry he started studying in Muttenz and graduated from the Basle University of Applied Sciences in 1978 with a diploma as Chemical Engineer. He absolved post graduate studies in marketing, organization and corporate conduction at the Swiss Technical Association (STV) in Zurich in 1980/81 which he finished in 1981 with a diploma as Economic Engineer STV.
For continuing education during his professional career he participated in lectures and absolved various management seminars about corporate strategy, leadership and management at the Swiss Federal Technical University (ETH) and at the Center for Corporate Conduction (ZfU) in Zurich. He is member of the ZfU-forum for board members.
Hans-Ueli Wolff started his professional career at the Basle Chemistry in pharmaceutical research. After the Basle University of Applied Sciences he was working on insulating plastics for the electric and electronic industry. Then he participated in corporate planning and led a four-shift production plant of base materials for the electronic industry in a big swiss-american company.
Hans-Ueli Wolff switched to management consulting in 1984. He worked as vice president in an engineering company where he was responsible for the management consulting business. In 1994 he joined an international management consulting group in Zurich as partner, shareholder and member of the board.
Since 1994 Hans-Ueli Wolff is independent. He is a consultant for companies in turning situations for questions on strategy and innovation. His main focus is on strategy realization with a clear aim at realizing competitive products and winning business models.
Hans-Ueli Wolff is holding lectures about strategy, innovation and technology management for postgraduates. He was secretary of the board of a company listed at the swiss stock exchange and was member of the board and CEO of a privately held venture capital company.
